In this episode, I’m breaking down what a realistic gut repair timeline can look like, why some clients notice changes within weeks while others need several months, and what influences that process. I explain why we work in phases, what our priming phase involves, and why ongoing support and adjustments are such important parts of our approach.
We’ll explore how your health history, accumulated stress, nutrient depletion, and coexisting conditions can add complexity—and how to recognize when you need more time versus a different strategy.
The goal is to help you set realistic expectations, recognize meaningful changes, and bring more compassion into the process of feeling better.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS EPISODE:
- Why there’s no universal timeline for improving chronic digestive issues.
- The four-to-six-month timeframe I commonly discuss with clients, and why individual experiences vary.
- Why we use phased protocols and ongoing support rather than standalone test reviews.
- What happens during our priming phase before more targeted gut work.
- How health history, chronic stress, nutrient depletion, and coexisting conditions can influence your timeline.
- Signs of progress beyond being completely symptom-free
- Why constantly changing protocols or following conflicting recommendations can make progress harder to assess.

How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (00:00.078)
It’s not going to take you 10 years to get better, but we’re likely looking at four to six months of work together before you’re feeling significantly better. And I think that’s like a realistic expectation, you know, we can’t overcome like 20 years of GI issues with 30 days of work unless we just like pull out all irritants. Like you’re and you’re eating a super restrictive diet and you’re just like not triggering any reactions. But as soon as you add things back in, you’re going to be reacting again. So nothing’s actually repaired at underneath it all, right?

How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (01:23.318)
Hello, my dears, and welcome back to another episode of the Nutrient Dense podcast. In today’s episode, we’re going to be talking about the gut repairing journey and expectations and timeline around like how long does it actually take to quote unquote heal my gut, right? I think saying heal your gut, there’s like more to it, right? The gut is you’re always eating things, you’re always exposed to things. I more so want to talk about kind of like repairing function and seeing big results. I think
When anyone ever says like I’m healed, there’s a lot happening, right? You’re never like fully healed forever because you’re not just this organism in a test tube. You’re experiencing life and it and all of the things that life throws at you as time goes on. But with that being said, there’s definitely a place that you can get to where you’re like, okay, I’m feeling a lot better. I’m tolerating a lot more foods. I don’t have digestive issues anymore. And that is that also takes upkeep, right?
Just like going to the gym, like you don’t go to the gym once and expect to be in super great shape. You have to go consistently a few times a week for the rest of your life in order to to really truly feel good. So there’s this like this point of being like healed. I don’t know if any of us ever actually get there in all of the different ways, right? With like emotional traumas and gut issues and physical things and whatever it might be, because life keeps going and we keep interacting with life and experiencing different things in life. But
How long does it really take us to get to this point where it’s like, wow, my digestive issues are significantly better? They’re not running my life anymore. I’m not noticing pain. I’m having normal bowel movements. And then even like, okay, my blood work’s looking better. My testing’s looking better. I’m feeling a lot better. I’m feeling like myself again. How long does it actually take us to get here? And what should we kind of expect on along that journey and during that process? This is something I’ve been talking about a lot lately. I’ve been thinking about, I find myself talking about to clients that are.
interested in working with us quite frequently. Like what does it actually look like? And I get the question all the time when I’m on strategy calls, you know, how long will it take? And I wish I could give you a super clear cut answer. Like it will take exactly three months, but that is, that would just be untrue because everyone’s case is different. So let’s talk about this a little bit in today’s episode together. So I’ve definitely been getting this question a lot lately. So I want to discuss, you know, timeline, expectations, and the many different underlying factors
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (03:43.672)
That can impact the length of someone’s health journey because we will see it go both ways, right? We work with clients and we’ll have some of our clients like completely 180 in three months. I mean, it’s amazing. Some of our clients will even start to see massive changes in like two weeks, but we will also see clients where they’ll work with us for eight months to really get to the point where they’re feeling like, wow, I’m a different person here. So we see it across the board, and there’s so many different things.
That come into play, like varying underlying factors that come into play when we’re talking about someone’s timeline in getting better. So I want to kind of break that down for us today. And what we often the question I often get as well is do you offer single sessions? Like, can I just get one session with you? Can you just look at my test results and give me a protocol? And my answer is always no to that, because to be like totally like honest and frank, they don’t work. Like single sessions do not work. Think about when you go into
your doctor’s office and they see you for like all of 10 minutes and you go in there and you’re like, I have digestive issues or I have this or I have that or whatever. Or can you look at my thyroid? And they like look at your labs and they’re like, okay, this looks fine. You know, come back in six months, maybe try mirroracs or motegrity or whatever and see later. Like there’s no way that we can take into context all of these different things that are impacting your health and really truly generate a plan that’s going to
help you feel significantly better. So I will get messages from some people. And this is like no hate or shame to them whatsoever. I just, it’s, it’s just something that I wanted to talk to today. So some people will message me and they’re like, okay, you know, I’ve been following you for forever. I’ve been having chronic digestive issues for 10 years. Can I just get one single session with you? And I and I have to very kindly say it’s not going to get you the results that you’re looking for. And I don’t want clients coming to work with us and not getting the results that they’re looking for because no one wins in that situation, right?
It doesn’t look good for everyone. The client doesn’t have a good experience. It doesn’t look good on us. We want to work with people that we feel confident in helping, that we feel like we’re the right fit to help. And also we need to have adequate time to like actually get you feeling better. So when we’re looking at taking this deeper underlying root cause approach to something like chronic stomach pain, we’re not taking an Advil that’s just numbing the pain and and it hits you and you’ll feel the the impact of it in 30 to 45 minutes and it’ll last for a couple of hours and then you need another one, right?
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (06:05.228)
We are taking a completely different approach here and looking at addressing, identifying and addressing these underlying root cause drivers that are contributing to your chronic digestive issues or your low energy energy or, you know, your slow thyroid function or whatever it might be. And that just takes longer. It’s not an a super, super easy, super simple overnight fix. And that’s not to like belabor the point or like overcomplicate the point because the body can respond quite quickly to.
certain interventions into giving to to being given what it actually needs. And your body’s so resilient. It’s like so self preparing. It’s always working for you. So we can, you can start to feel changes quickly, you know, but if we’re looking at someone that’s been struggling with chronic GI issues for years, it’s just not gonna take two to three months. We’re looking at a longer timeline for this person. If you don’t really have chronic digestive issues, but you probably do because you’re listening to this podcast, right? But
If your friend or something has like an upset tummy every once in a while and then we build out a protocol for your friend, you know, yeah, sure, maybe in two months we can really turn the corner. But we also build out protocols and phases, which I’m gonna talk about in this episode. So we’re looking at a couple of months of good work together. So in order to really make a difference, like you need consistent intervention, consistent support, and consistent tweaking and making adjustments to your plans and your protocols and your recommendations.
In order to really see a change, I think that maybe earlier on in my career, like years and years ago, I was like afraid to say this because everyone wants a quick fix and everyone wants to feel better really quickly. And if we’re the best of the best, we can get them feeling better really quickly. And as you know, I’m almost 10 years into doing this, it’s like we need time to make these changes. And it’s not because we’re missing anything. It’s like the body needs time to actually repair and start to feel better. And it’s always like a little sticky spot for me because
We do have some clients that literally feel like a different person two months into working with us. And we also have clients that need seven to eight months. So it really, really depends. I would say on average, we’re looking at four to six months of the steeper gut work to get someone feeling significantly better. So when I do get asked if we do single sessions, I kindly say like,
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (08:13.89)
We don’t because it’s not gonna give you what you want. And there’s a lot of questions that can come up. We build out very thorough protocols. So we’re looking at nutrition, we’re looking at supplementation, we’re looking at lifestyle, nervous system, stress, we’re looking at potentially environmental toxin exposure, detoxification, joy. We’re looking at circadian rhythm sinking. Like these are things that take time to implement, to change, and to see the results from.
So it’s not just like, yeah, take me relax and come back to us. That’s just gonna like force a bowel movement and not really address any of these underlying root cause drivers. Right. So it takes a bit of time and there are questions that can come up during this process. You know, why am I taking this? What does this mean? What happens if this makes me feel worse? So, you know, sometimes I see other practitioners, and one once again, this is like not to hate on anyone’s process, but I do see some practitioners selling a test in one review session for like the price of like our four month.
our four month program with like consistent sessions and so much support, which is fine. Everyone can do whatever they want. But I just don’t think and when I talk to my team about it, we are in agreement that like selling like a test in one session, it does it will not give the client the results that they want. And so it feels it just feels out of integrity for me because I know they’re gonna have more questions and they could even start taking these some of these supplements and feel worse temporarily or we’re making tweaks throughout your the whole the whole process and and protocols with our clients. So
We don’t offer the single session for that reason because I think it just adds more confusion. And when we’re building out protocols, we’re building them in phases. So we’re looking at multiple phases within one client case. Like we’ll have four to six to eight different protocols for one single client. So a phase one, a phase two, a phase three, a phase four, a continuation, an adjustment phase, all of these things. It takes time and like walk actually walking through all of those phases to significantly feel better.
And we’ll start everyone as well with like a priming phase, which you may have heard me talk about previously on this podcast, where we’re kind of setting the body up for transformation, right? So we’re really looking at blood sugar, we’re looking at drainage and detoxification, we’re looking at nutrient repletion, gut immune function, nervous system support. These are some of the core pillars here. And that alone, some clients will have to work on for like four to six weeks, maybe even eight weeks. That’s before we’re even getting into.
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (10:33.686)
really shifting the gut microbiome. And yes, we can shift the gut microbiome with nutrition and food adjustments and things like that. But like when we’re coming in and bringing in heavier interventions, which are necessary for I’d say 95% of the clients that we work with, that could be four to six to maybe even eight weeks into someone’s case, given their history. And some of the practitioners that we’ve trained under as well, someone like Dr. Dan Calish, for example, he’ll work on adrenal support with clients for like two to three months before even touching the gut.
Because the body has to be strong enough to really make these changes. So we don’t do it for quite as long as that. You know, we’ll do it for usually we’re looking at like four to six weeks and we see clients do well with that. But there’s just like in no world can like one session fix it all is my is my long, my long witted answer and way of saying that. But I think it’s really important to explain this so you can understand what you’re getting into when you sign up to work with someone like us or maybe someone else.
And maybe why they offer multiple sessions, like the their package comes with multiple sessions and it’s multiple months long. Now, my HGSB program is four months long with three sessions. And to be honest, like if I could have it totally my way, I would make it six months long, but it would be it would be higher price point, it would be longer for people and it would have more sessions. But a lot of people need will need that additional time. You know, we’ll we’re looking at probably 50% of people like totally 180 in the three in the four.
Months and then some people needing more time after that. I would say, depending on where they’re coming in from, how long they’ve been struggling, all of these different things play a role. So, and I’m gonna talk to some of those, talk, talk to some of those in this episode too. So they’re I think it’s important to like when every single call that I get on with a prospective client, like someone that’s interested in working with us, that’s interested in working with us one-on-one or in my group program, I’m always trying to be as transparent as possible. Here’s what could add complication, here’s where we may get into.
You know, it may slow things down. Here’s where I think we can really, really support you. Here’s what our timeline is likely looking like. I wish I could say it’s gonna be over in 30 days and it’s absolutely not. And I try to be very transparent with people so so they know, you know, what they what they can kind of expect in a process like this. And because that’s what I would want if I was if I was getting myself into something. And I say that like I I fear that it may come across as like you’ll feel no different for like six months. That’s not the case either. So
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (12:53.27)
I was looking at our check-in forms for this current round of my HGSB clients and everyone’s kind of starting and getting into their initial sessions. And these check-in forms are occurring before their first session. So we haven’t even reviewed their test results yet. We haven’t even started their like super customized protocol yet. we have started them on some priming work, we’ve started them on nutrition support, mineral support, all of these things is at the beginning, right? But that’s super specific protocol hasn’t even been been brought to their attention yet, right?
So they haven’t even started it yet. And people are already reporting. Like my bowels are so much better. My energy is so much better. I’m feeling so much better. My brain fog is lifting, right? I’m no longer taking mirror lax when I needed to take it. And this is happening in just a couple of weeks. So it’s not that you’ll feel no better for six months, but every case is different. And sometimes, which I all I always break this down for my HTSB clients and our welcome call as well. When we are coming in and we’re addressing things as a at a root cause level.
Sometimes we’re kind of like stirring the pot a little bit. Say you have a lot of LPS-producing gut bacteria that’s causing heavy inflammation, lots of irritation of the gut barrier, potentially crossing that blood-brain barrier. So you’re feeling like brain fog and reduce mental clarity and maybe even like mental health stuff as well. When we come in and we kill off some of these bacteria, you can feel a little bit worse before you feel better, right? We’re kind of like stirring the pot. And we have a lot of strategies to help our clients move through that process and not feel significantly worse before they feel better. But
It can kind of ebb and flow over the course of the months together with that kind of end game where seeing things are trending upward, right? But it doesn’t happen in two sessions and it doesn’t happen in a month of work, right? Or two months of work. So I think it’s important to break down like why and the many different things that can kind of play a role there as well. And I know that it can feel so overwhelming and defeating when you’re like, I’ve spent so much time, I’ve tried so many things.
I’ve invested a lot of my time and money and resources into getting better. I want to just feel better, ASAP, right? But when we’re looking at something like taking antibiotic, that’s like seven to 10 days. And sometimes they don’t even know if that’s going to help you when they give it to you. And sometimes you need two rounds of the antibiotics. But of course, like these are super strong. They’re totally wiping out bacteria. They’re also wiping out all of your gut bacteria, but they’ll save you in a pinch. So they act more quickly. It’s like five days, seven days, 10 days.
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (15:13.816)
But it’s also coming with like this other damage potentially. And when we’re working with more natural approaches, it’s kind of like slow and steady wins the race. With that being said, once again, we can see increases in energy, mental clarity, people sleeping better, less bloating, you know, within a couple of weeks, honestly, of consistent support. But every case is a little different. But I just don’t want anyone to get defeated if they’re feeling like I have been trying this and I feel like I have a good plan. I trust who I’m working with. I’ve got a well-rounded approach and I’m still not getting there.
It just takes a little bit of time and I know how defeating it can feel, which is also why I like to set proper expectations with our clients as clearly as possible. And also understand like, what are we looking for progress-wise? What does this look for on a gut repairing, on a gut repairing program? What is progress? What can tell us that things are moving in the right direction? And I had an HTSB coaching session right before this, and I mentioned them like your bodies are already responding, right? I’m seeing some of these intake forms, like bowels are already moving better.
We’re going from no bowel movements to bowel movements every other day. Like that is progress. Going from one bowel movement every seven days to one bowel movement every other day is progress in the right direction. Of course, we want you having a bowel movement every single day, if not two a day. And we’re gonna get there. But in a couple of weeks’ time, like that is progress. Noticing that you’re bloating three times a week versus every waking hour of every day is progress. So it’s really important to keep note of these things.
Because this is showing us that the body is responding to intervention. And then sometimes it’s not and we need to revisit, right? But we’re looking for small changes, which aren’t really that small when you think about it. Feeling less bloated overall and having less frequent bloating is actually great progress. But I think sometimes when people are just so used to feeling terrible and they’ve tried everything and they’re like, my gosh, this is so exhausting, these supplements and these changes, and like I just want to eat like a normal person.
We can lose sight of the fact that, like, whoa, actually, when I look back two months ago, this was like way worse. And now I am trending in the right direction. And that’s just how the brain works because our brains are hardwired wired for survival. So we notice the negative way more than we notice the positive. It’s just how the brain works. Like, think about all of the good things that go your way during your day. And then the one bad thing that happens, it’s like you harp on the bad thing way more than you even notice the things that went right. So I try to.
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (17:31.138)
Play this game with myself sometimes and it always helps me feel just significantly better in like all areas of my life where I try to notice all the things that went right. So like one time I was taking a trip with my friends, you know, and I was like, we made the flight, we got our bags in on time, there’s no delay. We made it through TSA without any issues. We found water bottles, like noticing all of these things that go right during your day versus like, my gosh, I hit traffic on the way to the airport.
And that’s like the one negative thing. But everything after that actually went pretty well, you know, or or maybe you remembered to bring your book on the airplane or you know, you landed safely. Like we just we expect these things to go right when actually like they can go wrong, which doesn’t mean we should expect them to go wrong, but it’s like, can we notice the things that are moving in the right direction? So this is another thing that I just recommend just using in your life. Like it will totally, you know, up your energy and vibration. And it’s we just wanna teach the brain.
To acknowledge the good more so than just simply harp on the bad. And when we’ve been dealing with health issues for so long, or when we’re just stuck in this like rut pattern where just feels like everything’s going wrong in our lives. It’s like work’s going wrong in my relationship, in my this, and my health, and everything. Cause it happens to all of us at different points of our of our lives, right? We can get so stuck in that like energy of noticing all of the bad. And it just feels, it just feels terrible. Let’s be honest. It just feels terrible. So we want to start to
To notice the good, all of the small wins, like wow, my coffee tasted good this morning. Or, you know, I got, I got seven hours of sleep when I’ve had nights of three hours before. It’s like all of these small wins, they’re also important to notice. And then the brain starts to shift out of that like really negative, fear-based pathway and starts to notice all the good and the opportunity around us, which is where we want to be during any health journey or when we’re trying to create the life of our dreams, right? Like where we want to feel.
most of us happy and fulfilled and energized and aligned and you know, magnetic and all of these things. It’s so helpful to notice all of the good that’s going on around us. So just a little tangent there. But because I I do know how easy it can be to just harp on all of the bad with our health issues, but also with our whole lives, you know? And I can definitely get there sometimes. It’s been a rough couple of weeks for us over here and for me. And I’ve been super sick and all of that. I got a really bad like cold, like I think viral.
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (19:50.84)
thing that I kicked and then turned into a bacterial thing and sinus infection and blah blah blah. And it’s like so easy to just be like, wow, one thing after the next. You know, when is it gonna stop? Like it’s just like over and over and over again. Cause it does feel that way. And I try to really come back to like, you know what? I slept last night. That was great. You know what? I had a great conversation with a client today. That was great.
You know what? My team’s excited about this work. That was great. Like, where can we choose to see the good? It’s sunny outside. It’s a beautiful day outside. That’s amazing because I’d feel way worse if it wasn’t. So it’s like really noticing these little wins. Okay. These little positive little glimmers in our days are just ex it’s important for all of us to notice all of them, right?
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (20:39.544)
We are big fans of eating enough protein over here on Team Han. Protein is essential for muscle repair, a strong gut lining, balanced blood sugar levels, and so much more. For most of our clients, we like recommending around 100 grams of protein per day to start, and adding in a good quality protein powder can be super helpful for hitting those numbers. It’s an easy add-in, you can throw it into a smoothie or even add it to oatmeal. Choosing the right protein powder can feel so overwhelming.
Half of them are full of fillers and crap ingredients, and the other half honestly just taste bad. Equip protein is one of my go-to recommendations for our clients and one of my personal favorites. We love it because it only has a small handful of ingredients. It’s 100% carefully sourced, real foods, no additives, allergens, chemicals, fillers, or other junk. It’s gluten-free and it contains 21 grams of protein per serving. Equip’s Prime Protein also offers
a complete amino acid profile. It’s also independently tested to make sure that the protein powder is free of harmful amounts of heavy metals and toxins like glyphosate, which is honestly super hard to find. Equip prime protein is a grass-fed beef protein. So it is animal based, but it’s dairy free, unlike whey or casein protein powders. Grass-fed beef protein is packed with collagen, gelatin, and micronutrients that your body needs.
We also see that it’s typically much better tolerated in our clients with chronic gut and digestive issues over something like a plant-based protein powder. In addition, some of their flavors do contain natural flavors, but they’re distilled vapors from natural and organic compounds or fruits like vanilla, coconut, and strawberry, and are processed without any chemicals, fillers, binders, or artificial ingredients, which once again is incredibly hard to find. Personally, I buy both the chocolate and the vanilla.
Flavors of the Equip Prime Protein, but honestly, they have like so many other incredible flavors out now. If you’re interested in trying out Equip Prime Protein, you can use the code HANA IllwardHHC at checkout for 15% off. And we’ll pop that code in the show notes of this episode for you as well. So once again, you can go to equipfoods.com, choose the flavor of protein powder that you want, and then use code HANA Illward HHC for 15% off.

I’m a big believer that the right supplements can be game changing when it comes to overcoming things like burnout, gut issues, slow thyroid function, low energy, acne, and so much more. But the supplement industry is honestly the wild, wild west. The FDA doesn’t approve supplements before they’re sold, so it’s really important to choose high quality brands whenever purchasing. Many brands aren’t third party tested. Some don’t actually contain what’s even listed on the label. Totally crazy, I know.
And quality can vary a lot from company to company. That’s exactly why we use FullScript with all of our clients. Through my online supplement dispensary with FullScript, you can get access to all of the professional grade third-party tested supplements that I trust and use with clients. FullScript vets brands before they’re introduced into the supplement catalog, and they hold them accountable to quality standards every year.
Whether you’re looking for a high quality magnesium or probiotic or digestive enzymes, maybe vitamin D, anything in between, you can shop them all in one place with confidence on Full Script. This is personally where I purchase all of my supplements, and I’m not kidding when I say I have all of my friends and family purchase from there too. If you’re going to invest in supplements, you wanna actually get what you think you’re getting and not just a bunch of fillers or random ingredients.
As a listener of the Nutrient Dense podcast, you’ll also receive 15% off of your orders and you’ll get free shipping on orders over $50. But when it comes to making progress on your gut healing or gut repairing journey, I kind of choose, I prefer repairing. So we’re gonna use that, right? Your gut repairing journey or your health journey overall. The timeline really comes down to the ability to identify and address these underlying root causes. And it’s never just one thing. So we’re never just looking at like it’s low stomach acid or it’s candida overgrowth because everything’s connected. So
Low stomach acid will cause slow motility. It can lead to poor nutrient absorption and lead like low B12 and low ferritin. It can lead to maldigestion that then leads to dysbiosis. It then leads to degradation of the gut barrier. Once again, not to overcomplicate it. This is the stuff we see day in and day out. So, you know, si simple in concept for us, but more so just cause like to explain the idea that it’s never just one thing. And if
That can then influence your thyroid, or if your thyroid’s influencing your gut, like we may have to explore additional underlying root cause drivers here. So we’re never just looking at one root cause. It’s always a couple things. Health is very layered and multifactorial. And when we are looking at taking a functional approach, functional medicine in theory and conceptually is like systems, a systems-based approach, right? We’re looking at these different systems in your body and how they can be impacting your health.
So adrenals and thyroid and gut and liver and all of these different systems, lymphatic system, right? So it’s never just like one thing. We’re addressing multiple things at once when we really want to get someone feeling better. So it comes down to an understanding, identifying and addressing these underlying root causes that vary person to person. So one person can have constipation and that can be due to methane overgrowth in the gut. That’s then due to something else.
Another person can have constipation due to candida overgrowth in the large intestine or the small intestine. Or someone else can have constipation due to not eating enough fiber and being low in certain nutrients, right? Someone else can have constipation due to like nervous system dysregulation. So there are many different things that can contribute to one presentation. So the ability to like identify and address these things is key here. And if you
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (27:11.202)
haven’t worked with someone that’s helped you in identifying and addressing these things, this is really where like the magic happens, for lack of better phrasing. It’s not magic. It’s like science and expertise in all of these things. But this is where like the progress is really going to happen when we can explore what is contributing to your presentation and how can we repair, how can we pre repair from there as well? So for some people, they’re coming in with chronic GI issues because they’ve had years of like burning the candle at both ends. Like they’ve been
Overworking, under eating, over exercising, supplementing with too much caffeine. Maybe that we’ve got history of eating disorder, undernourishment, like there’s like serious depletion going on. Or maybe it’s a woman who’s coming in, she’s had three children, she’s breastfed all of her children, she was also working, she’s also raising kids. Like the depletion involved in these cases is it’s so real. It’s so energy intensive doing these things, right? And then if we’re not repleting at the level that we need to, which most of us are not.
Because most us need to be like actually eating more and nourishing more and decreasing stress and all of that and enhancing digestion and absorption. So that’s one case we can see just depletion playing a big role. And if there’s been 10 years of that, we can’t overcompensate for that in in a month, right? Like it’s gonna take a couple of months to replete everything. And we’ll see that when people are working on if we’re ever running like an HTMA, like a hair tissue mineral analysis with someone, and then we add in these things to.
Address the findings. I mean, we honestly don’t want to do that for like six months. Same goes for a functional stool panel. We don’t really want to retest for probably six months because it’s going to take time to adjust those results. For some other people, that underlying root cause could be like mold exposure. So maybe they moved into a home that was moldy or maybe they’ve had multiple instances of mold exposure over the course of their life. They moved into this new place. It really set things off for them. Plus, maybe they got COVID and then things have never been the same.
These are things that we may need to explore in different cases. For someone else, like I spoke to someone today that wants to work with us, and she was like, I got food poisoning and then I took antibiotics. And after that, things have never been the same. That’s a different underlying root cause, right? So there are other things that we want to kind of look at when it comes to her case uniquely. And our our overarching concepts kind of apply to each case, but knowing the history and knowing the background can help us understand those underlying root cause drivers, right?
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (29:34.274)
When I was speaking to her today, I was saying to her, I’m like, you’re not really reading as like, you know, mold toxicity or like Lyme disease or, you know, Epstein bar or these other things that can add various layers of complication to a case. She wasn’t really reading to me that way. I could be wrong, but you know, based on her history, it sounds like it was like food poisoning, antibiotics. Okay. So now we’re gonna address X, Y, Z. Let’s run some testing and do that.
For other people, we may be looking at like they have known slow thyroid function. Maybe they have been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s. They’ve been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. So that’s leading to sluggish gut motility, which then is increasing their risk for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth and they’ve got constipation and they’ll usually have low stomach acid in those cases too. So for everyone, it’s a little different. And, you know, by the time we hit that like autoimmune expression of like a Hashimoto’s or a rheumatoid arthritis or something like that.
You know, this is kind of an an additional layer of complexity. This does not mean that we can’t make massive progress. We just had a client in my last round of HGSB bring her antibodies from I I’m I’m pretty sure it was like 5,000 or 6,000 into the hundreds. So that’s amazing. And that was done in the course of a couple of months. So that’s that’s incredible. I mean, that’s incredible progress through the work that we did with her, you know. So
That’s not to say that like we can’t support that case. We do support that case, but it’s almost like we’ve hit this new level of things versus someone that doesn’t have these additional coexisting things at one time, right? So someone without mold exposure is likely to get better quicker than someone with a lot of mold exposure. It also depends on the levels of the mold and the mycotoxins in the body as well, and the length of exposure and all of that. In addition to how quick they can get out of the exposure.
How much they actually follow the recommendations that we give them. Like there’s so many different things that play a role here, right? So there’s it really comes down to identifying and addressing the underlying root causes at play, which can vary person to person. That’s my whole point of this rant. It can vary person to person. And you want to work with someone who’s gonna dig here. And that also means that sometimes we may need to bring in additional labs. So we run a lot of functional stool testing. A lot of people are bringing a lot of blood work these days with function health.
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (31:45.26)
Which I have varying opinions on because they just give you a lot of like blood work, but there’s really no support alongside the blood work. So I don’t know. I don’t like fully get it, but I’m always here for getting more information into people’s hands. But we may need to bring in blood work. We may need to check the thyroid. We may need to check the iron recycling system. We may need to check for environmental toxin exposure, heavy metals, BPA, forever chemicals, mold, like mycotoxins, things like that. We may need to look at additional testing to see kind of what’s going on here.
So that is possible. So someone you want to work with someone that’s going to dig deeper if need be, but also be prepared that you may need to dig a little bit deeper depending on what we find and depending on your case overall. So for timeline, like specifically talking about timeline, as I mentioned, in the in our clients that we work with, some clients notice significant changes in like two weeks.
Others need a couple of months. Some have needed, like I said, six to eight months of working with us before reporting that they’re feeling like really significantly better. I would say even in those cases, normally we’re noticing some shifts like month two, month three, month four. So it’s not no change until then, but it can really vary per case. And this is also why all of our programs are four to six months long. So we need time to implement. We need time to actually implement the recommendations that we’ve made.
To allow the body to change, to observe the responses to the interventions, to follow up, to keep tweaking things. And some people will just need longer. So this is hopefully for the person that feels like I have done like a 30-day elimination diet, I’ve done XYZ, and I’m still not feeling any better. You may just straight up need more time. You may also need a different strategy. That’s totally possible. And you may also just need more time. So
When I I had a client that worked with us, I want to say it was last year, and she did incredibly well. She really liked we saw so much resolution in everything that she was dealing with. She came into us super hesitant, super scared. She was like, I don’t know about this. She was kind of like looking for an out before we even started, which was interesting. But she worked with us. She got to the end of, I want to say it was six months. And I think she added one more month on. And by the end of that, I mean, she was like a different person. Like she could tolerate way more foods.
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (33:58.254)
She trusted her body way more. Her digestive issues were like night and day different, but it just took a little bit of time and a lot of nervous system stuff was going on there too. And I remember her asking me like, it would be helpful to understand the timeline here and like how to keep going, even when it feels like I’ve been doing this for so long. So that is also kind of the point of this episode. And for those of you that have like been through the ringer with multiple protocols and stuff, hopefully this feels supportive for you too. There’s a difference between like just keeping
staying on a protocol when it’s not doing anything, it’s not working at all, versus just like knowing that you need a little bit more time, right? So we walk all of our clients through that priming phase and that’s before we even get into the gut microbiome phase. We may need to look at repleting nutrients, which for certain nutrients can take three months, you know, when we’re looking at like iron or vitamin D levels or whatever, we’re we wanna we want to add in support there for possibly three months before we even rechecking. Same with if we’re bringing if we’re
doing support and hoping that antibodies drop. Like we don’t really want to even recheck those antibodies for like six months with your doctor, you know, before we’re expecting to see big shifts there. So we’re often doing this priming phase and then getting into the gut work. And the gut work alone can be a good three to four months long based on everything that we find. And it’s once again, that’s going to vary per person too, based on your test results. So if someone comes in and we find like fungal overgrowth and bacterial overgrowth and an infection and really low gut immune function and really poor
Fat maldigestion. That’s a lot in one case. We totally see that. We see all of that at once, like all the time. And we’ve helped many people in that case. But that is likely gonna be a little more complex than someone that’s like has insufficiency dysbiosis where they just don’t have enough of their good gut bacteria. Right. That person may turn around a little bit quicker, but it can take a little bit of time for it for those bacteria levels to increase in a positive way as well, if they don’t have enough of the good stuff.
That can also take a couple months, but there are varying kind of like levels to this, right? If someone has known mold issues, known mold exposure, we run testing levels are super high. I mean, that can even take a year to bring those levels down in some cases, also depending on exposure. So, you know, we had a client that found a lot of mold, was super reactive to everything, moved out, went to stay in an Airbnb. It was even moldier. So, like that also imp impacted her timeline too, right? So, and I know it can feel like super frustrating.
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (36:18.178)
And we can give support in these cases, but all of these different, there are many different variables for another client, you know, we’ve we’ve had clients like lose loved ones during their their plan with us. And, you know, that will impact your health. That’ll impact your nervous system, that’ll impact your nutrient absorption and everything. And it’s just totally out of our control. So it’s like that can set someone back a month. For example, right.
So there’s all of these different things that can play a role here, getting a new job, like moving, having the stress of moving and selling a home or whatever. All of these things. And it’s not that it’s not that you wait until your life just like completely settles down and you’ve got nothing to worry about before you jump in, because that’s never gonna happen. Right. Like no one’s life completely settles down forever and always. And then you’re like, this is a perfect time. You kind of have to make the perfect time and then also just understand that it’s like, how can we support the b your body the best that we can?
While you’re moving through potentially some stressful stuff and understanding that, like, yeah, if you have a whole month where I was just talking to a client, I was it this week or I think it was last week at this point. And she was like, my gosh, I had this incredibly stressful thing at work that lasted three months. And it was like, she was like, I lost sleep. I was so immensely stressed out, it was horrible. And I’m like, Yeah, no wonder. No wonder you’re flaring right now. Right. So and she was like, I’m I feel frustrated. And I’m like, There’s only so much we can expect the body to do. Like
If you are feeling so incredibly activated, of course, we get you tools to manage that and we support you in that process. And we can look at, you know, going to therapy. We can look at brain retraining. We can look at breath work. We can look at meditation. We can look at all that. But it’s like sometimes life just kind of smacks you, you know? And it and then we and then we can move our way out of it. We lean on our tools and our toolbox and then we can slowly come out of it. But those things, of course, still impact your health, right? So it’s like,
We also can’t hold our body to this standard and to this expectation that’s like totally unrealistic. Like we are c totally, sorry, I just said totally a lot of times, but we are impacted by all of these things in our life, you know? It the human experience, like it can be beautiful and it can be kind of tough sometimes. So it’s like having patience and grace and gratitude throughout the process will help you move through the process just so much better. Just feeling better overall, feeling more positive overall.
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (38:33.28)
And sometimes I think that our survival brain goes to be like, well, I have to be on guard and I have to look out for all the bad stuff. And if I just focus on the good, then I’ll miss something that could be, you know, something’s not working or something’s there to get me or or whatever. It’s like danger, danger. And I have to just tell myself sometimes I’m like, honestly, I would rather just be like delusionally positive about this and believe that everything’s gonna work out, regardless of what it is, whether it’s like finding a new home or
making a recipe. I mean, it doesn’t even matter, right? Or a health thing. Like I would rather be just rather just be delusionally optimistic because it just feels better than to just like doubt and and doubt and doubt and doubt and worry, worry, worry. Like it just feels terrible, especially when so much is out of our control in our lives, you know? So we want to just kind of be grateful for what our bodies can do, be compassionate with ourselves during this process and not hold ourselves to this like totally unrealistic standard where we’re expecting us ourselves to do it like
Perfectly, and no one ever does it perfectly because things get in the way of that. And it’s like, we just got to get back on the horse. We got to just keep going. Small action after small step forward after small step forward, over and over and over again, is how we actually make massive progress. So just wanted to harp on that for a second there. People also often ask me, like, how long did it take me to heal my gut issues? And well, I spent like years not knowing what the heck was going on or what to do. Or I mean, I was trying everything under the sun for like years and years and years.
So my actual timeline is like t is many years. But once I got a better strategy, once I looked at functional stool testing, once I got myself a customized plan, I also was living in a moldy environment that I moved out of. That helped me get immensely better. I I think I would have hit a lot of road roadblocks with my process had I not moved out of that environment. So that really helped. And I was I was optimized optimizing my health from a
From many different areas. Like I was working on my mindset. I was working on my gut, stool testing, supplements, interventions, all of that. I was working on nutrition. I was working on stress management. I was also working on just like feeling more joy in my day to day. And I had gotten out of a massive environmental toxin exposure. And I will say, honestly, probably like two to three months in, I was like, wow, this is my digestion’s like totally different. This is awesome. Like I’m feeling so much better, bloating so much better. I’m not having constipation anymore. My stomach’s no longer ruling my life. It did take me like three months, but.
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (40:55.2)
I had been supporting my health in various ways for a long time, trying a lot of things before that. And I don’t have any, you know, I don’t have Hashimoto’s. I don’t have endometriosis to my knowledge. So I wasn’t dealing with these like additional things. I don’t I’ve never had Lyme disease to my knowledge. So I wasn’t, you know, I wasn’t dealing with these things that can just add layers and complication to a case. So I did have the mold piece, but I had gotten out of the environment. My body had responded really well to that. And I was working on detoxing that and that the combination of that and the gut work really
really supported me and I was doing heavy mindset work. So I was really aiming to just like be, I was really working on being happier and like living a life feeling fulfilled and getting out of the chronic stress response and getting out of like this really like negative fear state that I can enter quite easily. I was doing so much work on that and I was really choosing to see the good. And I was like rewiring my nervous system for for what I wanted in my life. Like I focused more on
moving forward in a positive way than harping on all of the negative stuff. And I was like working through some of my traumas and all of that. So it was a combination of all of this stuff. And I mean a couple months in, I was like a different person. So everyone’s case is a bit different. But once again, many factors kind of go into this. What does healing your gut actually mean? Like what are we looking for? And I’ve kind of touched on this already, but you know, gut healing or it’s a broad phrase, right? And it varies per person. We want to get you to the point where you feel like you can tolerate more with less pain.
Your digestion’s not ruining or like ruling your life anymore. I would say when we get you to the point where you’re not really thinking about your digestion anymore, it’s not really coming up, then we’ve made tons of progress. Like that’s where I want you to be. I want you to get to the place where you’re not thinking about your skin or you’re not thinking about your low energy or you’re not thinking about your gut and your digestive issues all day, every day. If we get you there and you’re not, you’re kind of forgetting to think about them, like that’s when I’m like, that’s where we want you.
But we can also look at monitoring progress throughout the whole time, right? So things that that are showing me that we’re making progress is going to be like you’re feeling less uncomfortable. You have less disruptive bloating. So you’re not noticing your bloating as much. You can make it through your day with more ease, less pain, all of that. You’re having a bowel movement every day, or you’re just, they’re easier to pass. They’re not as sticky. You don’t have to wipe as much. Maybe you’re feel finally feeling completely emptied, right? Not like you have to still go afterwards.
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (43:15.574)
If you run loose stools, you have fewer loose stools. So we had a client that comes to mind. I feel like she was having diarrhea. Like I kid you not, like nine to time ten, nine to ten times a day. And by the end of working with us in my HDSB program, it was like twice a day. Like that’s huge progress. That’s absolutely huge progress. And she had a lot going on in her case. So, you know, her life, her quality of life is significantly better at the end of it. And we’re looking for that progress to show us that we’re on the right path here.
You may be able to tolerate more foods. We see this with our clients all the time. So foods they couldn’t eat before, they’re now tolerating. Some clients come in, they can’t eat any veggies, and we get them to the point where they can eat like 20 different veggies. Some clients come in, they can’t eat any dairy. By the end of working together, they can’t eat dairy. Some clients come in, they can’t eat tomatoes or they can’t eat onions or apples. And by the end of working together after four months, they’re like, I had a tomato yesterday. I can’t even believe it. Or I had fermented foods and I felt fine. Like these were foods I never thought I’d be able to eat again after a couple of months of work together, you know? So
These are all signs that things are moving in the right direction. And you may also feel like you have more mental clarity or your periods are less painful. Or maybe you have like one hard pain hard hitting period out of like four, right? So for every like three, you have like for every four, you have one tough one. And then the next ones are okay. And then you have a tough one. Like we’re spacing things out. We have more time in between flares and in between like pain and reactions. This means we’re making really big progress.
It doesn’t mean you’re gonna wake up like with an immense energy every single day of your life. Like you may have a stressful thing at work, you may sleep poorly because of something that’s going on, you may feel more tired right before your cycle or during your cycle. Things happen, you know? But we want, we want the overall trend to be you have more energy and you notice less energy less frequently, like actually impacting your life, right? The other thing that I think is important to talk about here is this like stress.
Timeline. So something I like to talk to clients about is taking into consideration our stress timeline. How many stressors have we encountered in our lives and how long has this been going on? Because that’s going to impact how long it takes us to get better, usually. So, like I mentioned previously, if someone’s had 10, 20 years of digestive issues, that’s usually not being resolved in like two months. Like we’re we need a couple more months. It’s not going to take you 10 years to get better.
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (45:32.952)
But we’re likely looking at four to six months of work together before you’re feeling significantly better. And I think that’s like a realistic expectation, you know? If we can’t we can’t over overcome like 20 years of GI issues with 30 days of work unless we just like pull out all irritants. Like you’re and you’re eating a super restrictive diet and you’re just like not triggering any reactions. But as soon as you add things back in, you’re going to be reacting again. So nothing’s actually repaired at the underneath it all, right? So
We want to take a look at our stress timeline and how long we’ve been like stressed. We’ve been encountering these stressors. So having children is a stressor, being pregnant, breastfeeding, these are different stressors, overworking, undernourishing for years and years. Like we’ll see women that have haven’t been eating enough for 10 years. They or they’ve been on diets their whole lives. This will take time to overcome, right? We will see people that, I mean, anyone that’s an entrepreneur like me, like it’s so stressful. It’s so much to hold all the time.
And that’s kind of like an underlying chronic stressor for years and years, right? So different people have varying underlying stressors that can be contributing to things, losing a loved one or going through a divorce or whatever it might be, or living in a moldy home that you lived in for three years, like all of these things. It’s important to take all of these into consideration. Cause when you look at them, you’re gonna go, I need to be a bit more compassionate with myself throughout this process because I’ve kind of like been through some stuff where I took four antibiotics or I got food poisoning three times or.
You know, I had I got COVID four times or whatever it is, it’s like your body is so resilient and it can absolutely repair, but sometimes we’re just put under a lot of different stressors. So keeping that in mind, going through a period where you had really poor sleep for a couple months, like all of these things can play a role. Maybe you are the caregiver for like a sick loved one for a year. Like that’s really stressful. So understanding this, I think, is important when we’re looking at the the overall picture of your health. And once again, this is not in any way to say like,
You were so stressed for five years. So you’re gonna just not gonna feel any better for five years. Like that’s not the case either. It’s just more so like it’s probably not gonna go totally away in a month. And we just need a little bit more time here to move things in the right direction and probably a couple a couple months of work. So 20 years of digestive issues don’t need 20 years to improve. It just I don’t I like to be very realistic and upfront with expectations with people and like that doesn’t resolve in three months, probably. However, I you know, at the same time, we’ve helped a lot of people that have.
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (47:59.87)
Been struggling for 20 years, feel like a lot better in three months. But it I wouldn’t say they’re like on most people or to I wouldn’t want people to expect right complete resolution in three in three months after 20 years. So just kind of talking about this overarching timeline. And once again, with that being said, like we literally had someone in HGSB a couple it was, I think it was a couple rounds ago. And it comes to mind because like I saw, I saw her post it in our private community group, but she had been on Miralax for
I think 10 years and in two weeks she was like, I’m not taking me relaxed. And I mean, I’m like, that’s amazing. Like, that’s incredible. I wouldn’t promise that to everyone, but sometimes the body can really respond well when you just give it what it needs. So the path and the journey is a bit different for many people. The other thing that I think can play a big role here is jumping between protocols and jumping between practitioners. So there’s a difference between like working with a practitioner and feeling like this doesn’t feel like a good aligned fit. I don’t feel like they’re really hearing me. I don’t feel like I’m getting the support that I need.
They’ve run out of tools to help me or whatever that might be. That’s kind of different, right? But there’s another thing where sometimes we’ll get clients and they’re working with many practitioners at once. And I honestly think it just overcomplicates a case. It’s different having like a medical doctor on your team that can, you know, help with prescriptions and tapering on and off things and like checking, you know, gastroenterologists to go for colonoscopy. That’s all wonderful and great. But when there’s multiple practitioners at once, so some people will see.
Are like, they’re like, I have an acupuncturist that wants people to put me on this protocol. And I have a functional person here that wants to put me on this. And then I got an HTMA with this person and they want to do this. And then I’m working with a naturopath and they want to do this. And then they’re also working with us. It’s like there’s too much going on here. And we don’t actually know what you’re taking and what you’re doing. And it’s like a constant, like, okay, what are you doing here? Okay, who told you to take this? Okay, what about this? And it’s it’s like sometimes conflicting information. And I think that that can also elongate a process for someone because.
It’s like there’s like too cooks in the kitchen. And this is once it this is not to undermine like anyone in their profession doing great work. That’s not what I mean at all. A good practitioner is a good practitioner and we need more of those. It’s just that sometimes it can like hopping from thing to thing can make you feel like nothing’s working because you just haven’t given it enough time. Or it could also just be not the right thing for you. Right. So sometimes it’s like, I did this HTMA and I’ve been taking these minerals for a month and I’m not feeling better and blah, blah, blah. Well, it can take like six months for that. Or it can be like, I’m working with this.
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (50:24.3)
you know, chiropractor and they did muscle testing and the every time I go in, it’s like new supplements, new supplements, new supplements. And it’s like, what are we even doing here? Right. So it takes time for some of this to work. And we need to be consistent with these interventions for them to really work as well, including all of the foundational stuff, like, you know, blood sugar regulation and nervous system and stress support and all of that. Like we want to be consistent with these things to really see the positive impacts of them more long term.
And a great example here is like we had a client. This was this was kind of earlier on in my career, but she comes to mind because still interact with us and still reach out to us. But she did tremendously well. And she was in my HGSB program and she had chronic diarrhea. And it was like we had her on this protocol. We were looking at it from so many different angles. We were addressing so many things with her. The protocol was super thorough. And, you know, she got eight weeks in and she was just like, I’m still struggling. And someone on my team was like,
Just please like give it four more weeks. Like keep, I want you to do this for four more weeks. And literally she hit those four additional weeks and she was like, it’s gone. Everything’s feeling better. So she needed a bit more time to follow everything. Right. So we have the cases where it’s like two weeks. my gosh, they’re off mirroracs. Then we have the cases where it’s like, okay, you actually, you know, keep keep doing this for another four weeks, keep doing this for another month and and let’s see how you do. And then they really turn the corner from there. So there, every case is different. And
I think that some people may not tell you that. They may say, like, this exact thing is going to fix everyone’s everything in 30 days, right? But it’s just like an I I think it’s out of integrity to say that. And I think it’s un I think it’s just straight up untrue. Every case is a little bit different. Absolutely, like frameworks, right testing, the right strategy overall can help tons of people, totally. But the exact same approach for everyone, the exact same protocol, the cookie cutter stuff is it just doesn’t work. So
Every case is is a little bit different. We want to look at trends of improvement. We want to look at tolerability. We want to look at underlying root causes that need to be addressed. All of this is really gonna and underlying stressors, history of stressors. These are the things that are going to influence someone’s kind of, you know, what we would call like a a healing timeline. So we should be looking at this kind of like clear communication with client and practitioner on how long am I supposed to be doing this? What am I expecting during this process?
How Long Does It Actually Take to Heal Your Gut (52:45.706)
What are your tools for workshopping this and tweaking this as we go? If I’m not responding the way that we think I will, what would progress look like to me? And what progress are we already seeing or what progress are we not seeing throughout this process? Those are kind of the conversations you want to be having with the person that you are working with. I had a call with someone today and she was like, Yeah, I mean, I met with this person every like eight weeks. There was like no follow-up in between. I think it was a functional medicine doctor’s office. And she was just like, so I was doing this thing and I’m like, I don’t know if this is even working. And I can’t even ask any questions. And
Our approach is quite different than that because we’ll meet with people typically like once every four to six weeks and we’ll answer questions in between. So w we need a work if we need a workshop, we need a workshop, right? And we want that feedback of like, this is working. I’m feeling this, I’m feeling better with this. This is kind of flaring me a little bit. Like that is an important part of this process. so these are the questions that we wanna be having with the people that we are working with. So I hope that this episode was helpful and understanding too that like the time your time is gonna pass.
Anyway. So if you feel like, I wish I could get so much better in less than six months, you know, I would offer just like a re reconsidering or re or re like phrasing it as just like the six months are gonna pass anyway, right? So we can either like work towards this goal and work towards feeling better and learn a lot in the process and hopefully feel a lot better in the process, or we just let the time pass anyway. Like, and then we wake up six months from now feeling the same, the same way. And
You don’t really know until you try. That’s for anything in life. Like you don’t know if you like the person until you go on the date with them or maybe you date them for a couple months. You don’t know if you’re gonna respond to the diet changes until you actually try them. You don’t know if the business concept is gonna work until you put it out there and give it a good shot for, you know, probably like a year or longer, honestly. So it’s like you don’t know until you try and the time is gonna pass anyway. So like if you have the energy, if you have the means, if you have the resources.
To dive in and explore this process and work with someone to get feeling better, then I would recommend it because over time, you know, not to not to encourage like any fear or scare tactics here, but if we don’t address it, it’s just likely going to get a bit worse. It’s the only the only way that we guarantee that nothing changes is to simply change nothing. So what we can do is we can try to make changes in the right direction, slowly and steadily and wake up six months from now and feel a bit better.

you know, and potentially a a load, like a ton better and like a new person. So I just I just invite you to kind of think about it little differently. And same goes for like, you know, working on any project. It’s like the time’s gonna pass anyway. Do you want to wake up in six to twelve months and s and and go, hey, at least I get freaking tried. Or do you want to wake up feeling like, man, I’m so I’m I regret not trying that. So and this is like I’m not even really talking about health stuff here. I’m I’m more so talking about like everything in your life ever.
Cause it’s it’s all connected, right? So I hope that this episode was helpful and and what to expect, what we’re looking for, timeline, all of the various factors that can play a role in a case and play a role in someone feeling better. I think it’s helpful to just kind of understand what can go into this process. and know that like your body is not broken. It may just need a little bit of time to respond. And that’s okay. Like it’s don’t expect it to 180 overnight if you haven’t been treating it super well for a long time. You know, it’s like,
I think the more compassion and grace that we can bring into and faith and trust we can bring into this process, the better it’s gonna go in the long run. And if you are looking for someone to guide you through this process, if you’re interested in working with us one-on-one, of course, we’d love to help you. You can apply to work with us one-on-one in the link below in the show notes. You basically fill out an application. If we see that we think you’re a good fit, we’ll get get you scheduled for a call.
And then we’ll chat through your case to make sure that we are a good fit to work with you because we want to help you if we’re if we are the right fit. And if we’re not, then I’ll try to find some referrals to send you to somewhere, someone else. I I actually met, I had a couple calls today. I think I referred one person out today. And I told two other people like you’d be a great fit for us. So I will be honest with you in that. Someone had a case where I was like, you know what? I think you actually need XYZ. And we don’t do that. So we’re not the right fit for you. So these calls are great because I can get to know you a little bit more, hear a bit more about your case and see if we’re the right fit to support you.
And I’ll be super honest about that because we we want to make sure that we are the right fit and and everyone’s happy and everyone feels supported in that process. So if you’re interested in working with us, you can apply at the link in the show notes below. I hope this episode was supportive for you. And until next time, I’ll see you. I’ll see you in next week’s episode. Okay. Bye. Thanks for joining me for this episode of the Nutrient Dense podcast. If you found this episode valuable, don’t forget to subscribe.
